I’ve narrowed down what i’m going to do finally and that is working phantom energy which is the amount of energy something uses while plugged in, but not running. So when researched what electronics used a lot of phantom energy I found that computers and printers were up there so I want to try to go into computer labs and libraries and hook up a “smart” power strip like the Wattstopper Plug Load Control and Smart Strip Power Strip, that cut the power when your devices are off. I have not been able to see if all computer labs already had these so that is some more research I need to do but I do know some do not have them. I also need walk around and collect data on how many plugs are going to be need and the price of them.
