1 in 4 Deaths Worldwide Caused by Preventable Environmental Factors

According to a recent report from the WHO, one quarter of all deaths around the world are caused by environmental factors such as pollution and climate change.

China and India, by far the world’s two most populous countries (and also two industrializing nations), are at the top of the list.

The report claims that almost 10 of the world’s most dangerous diseases, as well as over 12 million deaths, are a result of environmental risk.
