When I read this article it raised some extremely interesting thoughts in my mind about global warming and sea level rise. The article is called “The Fingerprints of Sea Level Rise” and it totally changed the way i viewed sea level rise. A major idea I thought were interesting was the concept of regional differences in sea level change. what that means is that the sea level is not rising equally all around the world. certain areas are experiencing extremely different changes even in some areas the sea level is dropping. All of this is due to tides, winds and ocean currents playing a role in these regional differences, as well as plate tectonics. all of this information was supported my NASA and its partners.
