I was scrolling through the news and this article struck me the most. I understand dumping trash into the waters has been bad for the environment, but this article is saying that by 2050, every seabird species will have some sort of plastic in their body. As of right now, 90% of seabirds have plastic in their bodies. This number is extremely high, and it only raises the question, “How can we reduce the trash that gets into our waters?” Some people today do not pay attention to what they do, and the consequences it leads to. If more people understand and took the time to dispose of trash properly, we can help save marine life.
