NASA and NOAA ( National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration) both agree that 2014 was the hottest year on record. Not only did every continent on earth see new temperature highs but so did the ocean. Even though the changes in the ocean were less than a degree in difference scientists are saying that it could have a major impact. The nine of the ten hottest years on record have all been since 2000. Records go back to 1880. Scientists explain that these overall warming tends are do to greenhouse gas emissions which are caused in great amounts by people. Scientist are expressing an “We told you so” vibe in many of their interviews. The Times and NatGeo.
