This is not the first time I have read about factory farms and fisheries. It is a huge personal conflict in deciding what is right and wrong when it come to consuming meat. As the book says about 99% of meat comes from these factory farms and there is really no way around them any more. Even grass fed, organically raised animals are able to see light but not experience it. In today’s society it is hard to face the fact in where our food comes from and it raises a ton of ethical issues. I really did enjoy the book as disturbing as it is. I think its a good eye opener for those who live a more sheltered live. I like how he shared his experiences visiting these farms and how he wrote tons of letters to the owners of these farms asking questions and he got nothing back…Something is wrong there?
