China is currently dominating the global race for renewable energy. China is the largest manufacturer of wind turbines, and solar panels. The Chinese are also working on producing cleaner nuclear reactors, and more efficient coal power plants. This progress in renewable energy directly affects the United States, President Obama even addressed this issue in his State of the Union address. There may come a time when the U.S. trades away its oil for manufactured renewable energy resources from China. There are many factors in China that make manufacturing clean energy, practical and beneficial. It might be too late for the U.S. to catch up to China in the race for clean renewable energy.
